by Rich and Laura Lynch

On Saturday, August 14, 2021 the organization known as Artists for a Better World returned to the area to host an amazing free concert that was chock full of music and fun. Gathered together under the banner of "Artists Uniting to Make A Difference" the all-day affair took place at the Charlie Daniels Park Amphitheater in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee with some of the region's favorite acts like Jon Statham and Steve Schlussell adding their ample talents for a very good cause.

One of Nashville's most uplifting and optimistic performers (California's loss is Tennessee's gain) is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who goes only by the mysterious moniker of Javelyn. The delightful and entertaining singer always has a new anthem that she is ready to share with the world. In her closing spot at the Pavilion named for Mt. Juliet's favorite son she offered up a happy sounding ukulele based song called "Smile" that brought a smile to everyone's face making the world a better place - at least for one day.

It is open to artists and art enthusiasts of all races, faiths, nationalities, creeds and cultures. They believe in a world where good morals are valued and favor art that inspires and helps make the world a better place. The group supports artistic and other social programs that are making positive changes in society.

Javelyn put a "Smile" on everyone's face in Mt. Juliet.

Artists for a Better World International is a network of artists who uplift, inspire and create positive changes in society through social media, events and special projects, as well as the support of top social betterment groups. Who can argue with that?
