Four Guitars, One Unforgettable Night: 40 Fingers Dazzle the Fisher Center
On Wednesday, October 07, 2026, 40 Fingers an Italian acoustic guitar quartet delighted fans at the elegant Fisher Center. With over 350 million views across social media, this remarkable group has gained international acclaim for their ingenious versions of classic rock, pop hits and beloved film and TV soundtracks which were on full display in Nashville, Tennessee.
40 Fingers took the stage with a flair for the dramatic in Nashville. 40 Fingers features four virtuoso players, each armed with a full complement of digits - the numerical and anatomical inspiration behind their band's clever name. According to the quartet - Matteo Brenci, Emanuele Grafitti, Enrico Maria Milanesi and Andrea Vittori - the group first bonded years ago over a shared love of music and beer. In Nashville, they delivered a big, often haunting sound powered by masterful fingerpicking and their seamless blend of riveting rhythm and moving melody. Each guitarist has a rich musical history and skills - allowing 40 Fingers to craft creative soundscapes through complex chord progressions. Their assorted repertoire showcased four-part-guitar arrangements of rock and pop classics, as well as original compositions. Their passion for film and TV scores led to mesmerizing renditions of iconic soundtracks, including their take on John Williams' Star Wars themes which was a high point of a night of memorable moments. A few minutes after seven the four took the stage launching into a soaring version of "Highway Star" (Deep Purple) then into "Pirates of the Caribbean" with a trip to "Hotel California". On that legendary Eagles' tune the rhythm section treated the acoustic guitars like drums while the others crafted leads so rich we could almost hear the lyrics of the song. The next destination was "Africa" (Toto) that also featured the technique of tapping the instruments for percussion. 40 Fingers are fluent in the universal language of clapping thus they encouraged the crowd to become part of the music. However, all four men spoke English which added to the connection between patrons and the four proficient performers who were impressive on "Wish You Were Here" as they added their own unique flair to Pink Floyd's prose.

Classical music along with a stirring version of Simon & Garfunkel's "Sounds of Silence" were also in the eclectic set in Music City. 40 Fingers mentioned how much they enjoyed traditional Irish and Scottish music so the next instrumental reflected those influences and involved more hand clapping. It is no wonder that this remarkable group has gained international acclaim for their inventive, four-guitar reinterpretations of song like "Sultans of Swing" (Dire Straits) and among their greatest accolades is an official endorsement from Queen, who applauded the group's rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody" and even shared it on their official website. Both of those rock classics were presented with passion and procession in Nashville. Folks were asked to light up the room and sing along to the encore of "Hey Jude" which featured short solos from each guitarist. In closing, 40 Fingers mentioned an after-show meet & greet and said they are already looking forward to returning to the United States in 2027 so be on the lookout for 40 Fingers as they put on a fantastic show.
