Even With the Demise of MTV, Will Hoge Is Still Making Music Videos in Nashville
As MTV ended 2025 by shutting down several of its international music-focused channels (like MTV Music, MTV 80s, MTV 90s) - it looks like the end of the video age could be in sight. As the decades have rolled by - music fans have become more prone to say "I Want My YouTube" or "I Want My Spotify" than they are to declare "I Want My MTV". While it is true that change is inevitable - in Middle Tennessee there is one prolific country rocker who is reluctant to let the format go.
Dallas Jack & Rockin' Rich Lynch present THE WILL HOGE INTERVIEW Now, I have been a fervent fan of Will Hoge since 2007 consuming a large portion of his recorded discography. But, even as a long-term adherent of his I was largely unaware of his extensive video output and his commendable commitment to the form. During a January 19, 2026 interview with Will myself and co-host Dallas Jack learned just why Hoge keeps making videos to accompany his prolific body of work. It seems he just can't stop. "Videos - I still love doing them," Hoge told Dallas and Rockin' Rich during their in-depth, long-form conversation with the Franklin native, continuing, "Just because I grew up with them. It still matters to me. I like the idea of visual things that go with them (making albums) even if it is just a band playing. If you grew up watching MTV there's always a part of you that harkens back to those things." Fans from the Volunteer State - especially in and around Davidson County - will recognize many of the sights and scenes as Will and company shoot a lot of their Tiny Little Movies on location locally. Especially impressive is the one-camera shoot for "Middle of America" that was produced after hours on Main Street in Gallatin. Please take a listen to our interview with Will Hoge at the video link above and then listen and watch what we think are the Top 10 videos he has released to a global audience via online streaming services below.
