Romeo Records and TSAI Host a Halloween Themed Writer's Night in Hermitage

by Rich and Laura Lynch

Things got pretty scary on Friday, October 17, 2025 as Romeo Records & Cafe along with TSAI hosted a Halloween-themed writer’s night at the hip coffee shop located at 3441 Lebanon Pike in Hermitage, Tennessee.

Come out to Romeo Records and Cafe in Hermitage for a fun time in Music City.

The event was organized by the always engaging and musically stirring Richard Trest who served as de facto host as he provided accompaniment on harmonica and guitar to supplement the evening's slate of talent that also included the explosive and always active C4, the entertaining Jack Boucher and the girl with the million dollar voice - Cheryl Maria. Adding additional authenticity to the proceedings was the sounds of whips, screams and chainsaws flowing into the performance space courtesy of the Slaughterhouse Nashville Haunted House located just next door to Romeo Records.

MCN founder Rockin' Rich Lynch traded in his editor's hat to emerge from a rather long self-imposed exile to play three of his scariest songs for Trest and company including one about crippling pollution ("Ode to the Chemtrail Pilots") and another about potentially demonic newborns caught onscreen via a sonogram camera ("Devil Babies").

Also on the bill - Jack Boucher, C4 and Cheryl Maria.

Romeo Records & Cafe is where good music and great coffee come together and the owners have created a space that feels like home for music lovers and coffee fans alike complete with a daily caffeinated playlist that is designed to energize their clientele. TSAI is the Tennessee Songwriters Association International is a non-profit organization operated by its own elected volunteer directors who are committed to the education and development of the songwriting community and the advancement, enjoyment and recognition of their members.
