Tyra Madison Is the Right Girl at the Right Time at The Music Loft in Nashville

by Rich and Laura Lynch

Musician Tyra Madison is receiving a lot of accolades and receiving even more streams with over 14 to million to date. Hailing from a small town in Kentucky she cites Carrie Underwood and Maren Morris as some of her influences that are reflected in her passionate vocal style. Since graduating from Belmont University Tyra has been performing and songwriting here in Nashville and beyond including a well-attended private EP preview at The Music Loft on July 19, 2023 in Nashville, Tennessee.

"This girl can sing her brains out," declared PR Pro Skip Bishop of Studio2Bee who introduced Tyra at the gathering of supporters, friends and family who enjoyed an intimate yet intense performance from Tyra and her band. Skip also said that Sony Music is fully behind her so Ms. Madison's future looks very promising indeed. Her current musical direction finds her championing female empowerment and the importance of discovering your own self-worth as told during the relatable "Hurts A Little Less" and the potent "Plead The 5th".

We saw and heard just why Tyra's songs are popular. Tyra sang with emotion giving her prose even more power. She also threw a bit of sly wit into her muse as revealed in "California King" and later lyrics inspired by Kentucky Wildcats basketball talking about missing your shot yet affirming that "I'm not your rebound" - another statement about respecting yourself. We certainly came away with more respect for emerging artist Tyra Madison by the end of the night.

Tyra had a great band to add punch to her powerful voice in Music City.

Partnering with hit producers Iiya Toshinsky, Jason Haag, Brad Hill and Dave Thomson - Madison has taken full advantage of her Music City connections by working with top songwriters in town. Her latest single - "Right Girl Wrong Time (Exposed)" proves that the future is bright for this strong female force. Tyra is a promising talent whose infectious personality and small-town charm is sure to leave a lasting impression on country and pop fans for years to come.

The Music Loft located at 219 2nd Avenue North is unique set-up available for a vacation rental or special events such as Tyra Madison's showcase. It is a historic building from the 1800's that combines classic and contemporary stylings in an acoustically pleasing space. The area is currently under construction but once that wraps up The Music Loft has a prime location in close proximity to all of the action downtown.
