A Night to Cherish and Party in Nashville as Cherish Lee Releases "Tequila Cowgirl"

by Rich and Laura Lynch

Music and television royalty were in the house as Billboard Country Artist To Watch, Cherish Lee, debuted her album, Tequila Cowgirl, to a room full of family, friends and industry reps on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 3rd and Lindsley in Nashville, Tennessee. Lee was brought on stage by Kaitlin Doubleday who is Deacon Claybourne's love interest on CMT's Nashville. All this took place as another star of the small screen - Cherish's mom Charlene Titlon of Dallas fame - looked on.

Cherish Lee - cherishing the moment in Nashville.

"[Tequila Cowgirl] was the perfect introduction to Lee and her classic country sound with a rock 'n roll edge. After all, "This Ain't Your Grandma's Country Song." The debut album is now days away from its release and it can best be described as honest storytelling. Coti Howell of Nashville Noise says - "Lee doesn't pretend to have it all together (you'll notice that in "Diamonds and Flaws") and she's unapologetically herself. She co-wrote all of the songs, making this debut truly her own story."

Music industry VIP guests, media and her fans enjoyed a private tasting of award winning G4 Tequila as they raised a glass to celebrate the release of Tequila Cowgirl by Cherish Lee. During the performance of "Wyatt's Song," a surprise appearance by the Tennessee Titans cheerleaders dancing and sprinkling confetti throughout the venue brought a unique element of fun to the celebration - especially as Lee serenaded her adorable young son and namesake of the song. Fellow Billboard Country Artist to Watch, Lewis Brice joined her on the duet "One Pillow Over".

We hit the trifecta with Lewis Brice, Kaitlin Doubleday G4 Tequila.

"What a mind blowing and insanely magical night! So much was put into this project and to stand on that stage, bare my soul and watch everyone take the journey with me completely filled my heart," said Cherish Lee. "So thankful for everyone who was a part of bringing this to life! Special thanks to G4 Tequila for putting on a badass party!"

Opening for Lee was seventeen-year-old Rion Paige whose cuteness was only exceeded by her courage. Paige rose to international acclaim by finishing fifth on Season 5 of the X Factor talent search show created by Simon Cowell. Rion has a rare condition called arthrogryposis multiplex congenita which has caused permanent damage to her arms, resulting in her hands being in a fixed bent position. If you were unaware of this fact her stage presence at first might take you aback. However, once this bubbly Florida girl starts singing you realize she has the chops, experience and ability to win over any audience - even one as finicky as Nashville.

About Cherish Lee: Cherish Lee, daughter of Johnny Lee (country music legend, Urban Cowboy's "Lookin' For Love") and Charlene Tilton (television sex pot vixen, Lucy Ewing on the hit TV show, "DALLAS") is no stranger to the country music scene. After spending a few years on the road touring with her dad, she moved to Nashville and has been making waves ever since. She quickly gained her own recognition as a singer and songwriter, and was recently named among Billboard's "15 Country Artists To Watch In 2018." Last October, Lee released the first single from her record titled "Tequila Cowgirl," along with her music video debut. It's honest music that tells a story, and Lee's voice conveys it beautifully, with all the attitude that her fans have come to expect from her.
