CMA Fest 2024 - A Snapshot Report

by Rich and Laura Lynch

Unfortunately, Team MCN was unable to attend any of the CMA Fest (Jun 6 - Jun 9, 2024) this time around in Nashville. But, as luck would have it - our good friend Brian from Los Angeles was on the scene and he kept us updated through numerous text messages over the duration making it feel like we were very much right there with him. By several accounts this year's event was one of the best ever complete with many absolute surprises and even more activities and acts to see over the often hot four days in Music City.

According to Brian, this year's CMA Fest that was celebrating its 51st incarnation in the region earned a rating of an impressive, nearly perfect "10" from the rock concert veteran. Through expert planning, coordination and connections he was able to take in Blake Shelton appearing with Post Malone at Nissan Stadium (and again later at Ole Red's); a Bon Jovi record signing in East Nashville; an intimate set with Jelly Roll; multiple performances at the UMG Nashville Takeover at Skydeck that included Maddie & Tae, Josh Turner and the courageous work of country crossover star Anne Wilson. Throw in a residency set by Eric Church at Chief's - and, a whole lot more - and you can see that Brian's CMA Fest 2024 was one that was hard to beat.

The only question that now remains is: What does everyone do to top this FANtastic 51st edition of the CMA Fest? Time will tell - it's already less than a year away!
