Assembly Food Hall Satisfies Hunger For Meals and Music with Carl Wockner and Robert Leonard in Nashville

by Rich and Laura Lynch

There is a reason that Assembly Food Hall is one of the hottest destinations in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to boasting Music City's largest rooftop, 30 eateries, multiple bars and delectable dining choices - there are also 3 stages that present a non-stop slate of top talent. Consider how on July 7, 2023 we found ourselves treated to tasty tones by Australia's Carl Wockner who is clearly at the top of the food chain music wise in his home country down under. Wockner was immediately captivating with a mix of loop accompanied tunes that touched upon jazz, funk, R&B, pop and rock. It's no wonder he has dates locked in around the planet throughout the end of the year. But, there's still time to catch him in Nashville. We also enjoyed the husky vocals and solid strumming of North Carolina native Robert Leonard who describes himself as a work in progress and from what we observed his hard work is starting to pay off nicely at 5th and Broad.
