Mike Farris Is a Revelation at the Musicians Hall of Fame in Nashville

by Rich and Laura Lynch

Mike Farris is a Grammy Award-winning musician and native Tennessean who emerged in the late 80's as the founder and lead singer of Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies. Now working as a solo artist since 2001, Mike consistently wins praise for his high energy performances and swelling soulful vocals that are firmly rooted in his own faith and continuing spiritual path. Farris is a treasure who often finds himself gracing the big stages like he did at the 2022 Musicians Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Municipal Auditorium on November 22, 2022 in Nashville.

Mike Farris provided a convincing jolt of energy to the MHOF party in Nashville.

Mike joined the richly stocked house band for two memorable performances running through a Chicago medley in honor of producer James William Guercio who was at the helm for the first dozen albums by that stellar group. Farris returned for the grand finale tearing it up with Billy Gibbons on a few ZZ Top numbers as the bearded guitarist received this year's Iconinc Riff Award. Both shots in the spotlight proved why it shouldn't be long until he gets an induction of his own into this hallowed hall. Farris will next return to the stage in Nashville on Saturday, December 10, 2022 when he brings his annual Mike Farris Sings! The Soul of Christmas concert to the CMA Theater. The festive event, featuring a thirteen-piece band and Farris's blend of soul, rock, blues, and gospel, has historically sold out - so get your tickets now!

ABOUT THE MHOF: The Musicians Hall of Fame is a premiere Nashville attraction and the one and only museum in the world that honors the talented musicians who actually played on the greatest recordings of all time. The facility honors musicians regardless of genre or instrument. Since 2007, they have now held seven total induction ceremonies honoring the best players and instrumental persons behind the scenes in the music industry. Make sure to check out the MHOF located in the basement of the Nashville Municipal Auditorium on 401 Gay Street the next time you are in Music City.
