"Honestly, I wasn't prepared for the loss of concentration that happens when the axes knock into the wall and the screams of joyous throwers echo throughout the lanes," Lynch said describing how his time on stage at Bad Axe Throwing found him struggling a bit. "Look, as I said from the stage. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger and I will know for next time to be ready for the distractions that come with the sport of axe throwing."
Your talented host - Bobby Ray Connell Jr.
The evening's host Bobby Ray Connell Jr. - a relative newcomer to town arriving only 10 months ago - has now played over 70 gigs here since the start of the year. Bobby, now a regular at Bad Axe Throwing, put his musical and lyrical talents on display with engaging songs that included "422 West", "I Can't Wait to Love You" and "First Class Ticket". But it was the track that he was just completing called "Axes & Alcohol" that perfectly described the strange scene that unfolds every day at this unique establishment just on the outskirts of the downtown.
