Marcus Story - Street Artist Has Stories to Tell in Nashville

by Rich and Laura Lynch

We met street artist Marcus Story on October 22, 2019 when we walked down Broadway and found him set-up on First Avenue on the banks of the Cumberland River. What first caught our eye was the poster board blow-up of a recent newspaper article that mentioned the spray painter was from Englewood, New Jersey - birthplace of one half of Team MCN.

Marcus Story was personable and professional in Nashville.

When we stopped to talk we found out that the artist and musician has taken his show on the road visiting Pittsburgh; Knoxville, Nashville; Chattanooga, New Orleans; Miami; Panama City, Virginia Beach, Savannah and Maryland in recent months where he has created hundreds of colorful works on demand for paying patrons.

We provided the friendly and mysterious creator with one more story as we asked him to do a take on the founder of our first music website - the Alien known as Kweevak. Story got to work and within ten minutes had revealed a slightly sinister version of our one time CEO who came to life on an 11x14 canvas. Overall, it was a far-out encounter of the best kind in Music City.
